Senior Center Sparks Enthusiasm
A group of excited knitters and non-knitters gathered yesterday to hear about The Knitting Project. The article was written by Dr. Katarzyna Zimna, who received her PhD in 2010 from Loughborough University in Leicestershire, England. Zimna’s doctoral thesis, Play in the Theory and Practice of Art caused her to be drawn to the work Suzanne created, Magic Carpet Ride at the Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź, Poland.
