Welcome to my new blog site! I will be using this space to give you my own spin on happenings in the art world in general. I welcome thoughtful discussion via the comment system. Specific news about my own art will still be posted on my News page as it always has.

Due to issues of comment spam rampant in the blogosphere, I ask that you identify yourself before making comments. All you need is a user name and a valid e-mail address. (Disposable e-mail addresses are not allowed.) If you provide a web address, it should be to your personal site. (Twitter, Facebook, or LinkedIn pages OK) Commenters using promotional links will be blocked. Your first post will be held for moderation until we can verify you are a real person. After that, you can comment away without any further hindrance, as long as you use the same user name and e-mail address. However, if you post multiple links or use spammy words in your comment, the post will be delayed. Finally, I do ask that your comments be substantive and not just those “Awesome!” type of comments. As much as such kudos are appreciated, they detract from thoughtful discussion. I reserve the right to remove comments that are off topic, promotional, inflammatory, slanderous, or spam. I promise to leave comments I don’t like as long as they are topical.

Your e-mail will not be displayed at any time, nor will it be given out to anyone, ever. It will remain on our server as a unique identifier for your ‘account’. The little monster avatars that appear by your posts are randomly assigned by the blog system to your e-mail address to help differentiate various commenters. You can use your own custom avatar via the Gravatar system. Consider signing up if you haven’t yet.
