Today, Dr. Lisa Ridgway and I installed the first of our community-based public art pieces. Born of an idea exchange, Lisa and I arrived at the idea that this should be our inaugural piece with the opening of general elk season.
OK, now you know the secret of how we got this vest on the elk.
Finished work. Update 9/24: We’ve gotten lots of feedback in the past week: over 50 “Likes” on Facebook, a number of e-mail exchanges, a posting on JH Underground, and smiles when people ask what I’m working on these days.
